Dr. Sonkar did his master’s in microbiology (2007) from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi with master’s research thesis from Department of Microbiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (2015) from the University of Delhi, Delhi, India. He completed his postdoctoral training from Department of Public health at Florida International University, Miami, Florida, USA, and Public Health Research Institute of India, Mysore, Karnataka and 2nd postdoctoral training from Vardhman Mahaveer Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital Delhi. Dr. Sonkar was born in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, India on April 23rd, 1983.
Dr. Sonkar has published more than 20 research papers in National and International peer reviewed journals and presented more than 30 research papers in national and international conferences. He has over 100 scientific citations with more than 10-H-index for his research contributions as of now. He has given invited and plenary lectures in a large number of National/International meetings/Conferences. He has sanctioned major research projects by NIH, DST, ICMR, and UGC.

He has conducted several Workshops, National and International conferences. In view of his academic excellence, His part of Ph.D. nominated for the president visitor’s awards in 2017. Dr. Sonkar widely travelled across the length and breadth of the Country and also abroad to Australia, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Iran, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Ireland, Middle East and Singapore. He seen and interacted with higher educational leaderships in wide-ranging number and type of universities and colleges. Commencing my research career at a premier institution of the India in Haryana to be the Technical Advisor of a National Mental Health Program at a premier Central council (ICMR) in New Delhi. He is also serving as invited editor in various Hindi News Paper as political and social analyst. Apart from science, Dr. Sonkar have long term vision to work in the interest of village, poor’s, laborer’s, unprivileged and farmers with special attention of skilled training in the field of Health and Education.
